Welcome to Triumph Education Center. We are happy that you have chosen to attend our center during current school year. The following is a list of information pertaining to your child’s after school program. Please read these few pages carefully.

OFFICE HOURS

  1. The office will be open Monday to Friday, 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
  2. After school program hours are Monday to Friday, 3:00 to 6 p.m.
  3. All children MUST be picked up before 6:30 p.m.

FEES

  1. Tuition fee is $14/day. Tuition is due on the 1st day of each eighteen school day period starting on the first day of the school. If pay the whole year, receives a 10% discount. Please pay on the due date (see payment schedules), no later than 5 school days.
  2. Tuition fee is $15/day if attending 3 school days or less.
  3. Transportation fee is $3/day. (*If paying by check, please write two separate checks; one for the monthly tuition fee, payable to “TECC,” and the other for the transportation fee, payable to “CASH.”)
  4. There is no refund or credit on tuition and bus fees for student’s occasional absence for any reason.
  5. Credit is given only if a child misses five or more days, not including holidays.
  6. There is a one time book fee of $50 for all the workbooks and materials that will be used in your child’s classes.
  7. If your child is going to attend TECC during a school day off (i.e.: pupil free day, staff development, etc.), please let us know at least one week in advance. A minimum of three students must be signed up to come for that day in order for us to open at 8 a.m. There is an additional $10 charge for attending the morning tutoring session.

TRANSPORTATION

  1. If your child is absent from his or her school or has other arrangements after school, please call us before noon and leave a message.
  2. If the child is not at the designated pick-up point on time, the driver will have to leave for other pick-ups. However the center will notify the parents when a child has not been picked up.
  3. If there are any changes in the regular school calendar that may affect pick-up times to your child’s school, please let us know.

HOMEWORK

  1. Students are responsible for showing their teacher their daily homework assignments.
  2. Students have daily reading assignments from their school. Please encourage them to bring their own reading material, since our resources are limited.

HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENT CHART

  1. A Homework Assignment Chart will be given daily to the students.
  2. Students are required to list their homework assignments from school.
  3. Teachers will initial next to the completed assignments.
  4. These charts will be returned to the child each day so that parents will know of which homework assignments are completed.

PROGRESS REPORTS

  1. Progress reports consist of students’ completed work and a grade sheet showing materials they have learned and their progress. These will be distributed once every quarter.
  2. Grades will be issued for each individual subject.
  3. Parents must sign and return the grade sheet.

INCOMPLETE WORK

  1. Weekly writing assignments will be assigned to the students. If these are not finished in class, they will be asked to take it home to complete.
  2. Test Prep packets will be issued every Wednesday. If they are not completed at our center, they will be taken home to be finished. This will ensure students’ progress in academic achievement.
  3. Parents should make sure that incomplete work is completed and returned to us.

MISCELLANEOUS

  1. Students need to bring their own supplies for classes. It is absolutely essential to bring lined paper, pencils, an erasers EVERY DAY!
  2. NO GAME CARDS! (i.e.: Magic, Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh, etc.)
  3. NO ELECTRONIC DEVICES! These include Video Games and iPods.
  4. Since your child is here during the entire afternoon, he or she may want a snack to eat during recess. They are welcome to bring anything they want to eat. We have a refrigerator and freezer in which they can store their food, as well as a microwave which can be used to heat it.
  5. The children are responsible for their own food items.
